- Within District, select Benchmarks on the left menu.
- Administrators should select appropriate Year, Grade and Subject for the benchmarks.
- Select 'Add New Benchmark'.
- Within the 'Detail' page, enter the name and description.
- Select the test by clicking on 'Find Test'.
- Scroll down where you can see add standards by content and grade.
- Select 'Add Standards'.
- Click on the drop down to find the subject and grade.
- Select the subject and grade to display the standards.
- Check the standards by clicking on it.
- Click on 'Save' button.
- Once saved, the standards are added to the benchmark.

Before finalising the benchmark, administrators are advised to check the boxes labelled "essential," "important," and "supporting" corresponding to each standard.
Note: Minimum one standard needs to be selected.
- Once done, scroll to the top and click on 'Save' to update the benchmark.
