Assigning & Administering Assessments

Select Benchmarks under 'District' section on the left menu.
After selecting the year, grade and subject, click the 'Add New Benchmark' button.
Provide the details like Name, description, instructions, etc.
Click the 'Search Test' button to locate a test.
It will redirect to the tests page to choose the existing test. Scroll up and down and click the '+' icon to add the desired test to the benchmark.
Click the 'Save' button once the benchmark details are filled.
Publish the benchmark.
Within District section, under 'Test Administration', select the parameters and activate the test for the student.
Under 'Test Administration', administrator can view the status of students taking the tests, and scoring once completed.
Test can be reset, reopened and student test accommodations can be updated under 'Test Administration' page.

From the left menu, go to 'Resources' section and select 'Questions'.
Click on 'Add New Question' on the right.
Choose the question type (e.g., multiple-choice, true/false, extended text,).
You are now at the screen that will allow you to create your question(s). This area provides you with several options:
Choose to share the question by making it ‘Public’ or keep it private so only you have access , provide your question with a title, and other details. You can also generate AI question. However make sure the meta data is selected before generating the AI question.

Tag and align the question with the relevant curriculum standards and other applicable fields. It is essential to tag the question to the correct standard(s) to ensure accurate standard mastery reports for analysis.
Within the Response Process, review the key (correct answer), possible points, etc and make changes if needed.
Here you can add multiple interactions by select 'Add interaction' at the bottom of the page.
Choose the interaction type (multiple choice, extended text, evidence-based-selective response/EBSR).
You can view the interactions added by clicking on the interaction type to minimize.
There is a delete/trash button to delete the interaction.
Click on 'Save' once the question creation is done.

Once logged in, go to 'Resources' section on the left menu.
Select 'Tests'.
Click on the ‘+Add New Test’ button located at the top right-hand side of the page.
'Add/Edit Test' page will be displayed where you need to fill the Test details (title, description, time limit, share/not share test with others, performance rubrics).
Click on the 'Find Questions’ that appears at the bottom right side of the page.
Within the 'Add Questions' page, choose the filters and select the desired question by clicking the '+' icon.
This will add the questions to the cart and you can view the number of questions added.
You can preview any of the questions by clicking on the question link or by selecting the 3 dots and then ‘Preview'.
Once you’ve selected all of your questions for the test, select the ‘Continue and Save’.
You will be redirect to the Add/Edit test page to review the number of questions.
You can use the ordering tool to drag & drop the order of the questions.
In order to remove the question, click on 3 dots against the question and select 'Remove'.
If all the details are updated, select the 'save' icon at the bottom of the page.

Login to FocalPoint as Student with the provided credentials.
On the left menu go to 'Learning Tree' and click on 'Instruct'.
Select the course in which the assessment is attached.
There are 2 ways to view the assessments :
1. Home page:
On the home page within the course, under To-Do List, click on the assessment title..
And Begin the test after reading instructions.
2. Learning Page:
Choose the learning page inside the course, (click on the icon next to home page within the course).
Against the assessment, click on 'Launch Activity' icon.
The assessment page will be displayed with Instructions.
Click on 'Begin Test'.
Enter answers & click next to move to the next question.
Click on 'Finish' at the bottom once test is completed.
Please note: When the test is closed without submitting, the test status will appear as 'In Progress'.

Click 'Dashboards' section then 'Assessments'.
To view standards or item analysis, click on 'Classroom Assessment' and then select the down arrow under 'Formative Test.' You will be able to see student, standard, and item analysis.
Click the Home button on the top left corner to navigate back to Main Dashboard.
